Review: Anicca Ortiz Pro Model Backcountry Backpack
8 years ago
Quick way you can load up the Anicca Ortiz Pro Mode 30L pack. I got to pick the colors of this pack and the board or ski transport straps. I have been using the pack for work and going out and a about. I didn't use it as many times as I wanted to up in the mountain, but I loaded it just like this.
This bag has the A frame and it's huge. This pack has some of the sturdiest buckels I have ever seen. If you break one of these, you either hit something pretty hard or crushed them. Being so big, they close with satisfaction. Not really sure how else to describe it, but they are nice.
Straps for carbineers or cinching, a zipper pocket and shovel pocket on the outside. The zipper pocket on the front is more to be used while the pack is flat. All the storage is above the zipper. Once you learn that it well, and makes it easier to search the pocket. No water bottle pocket on mine, I bet they can add one if you ask nicely.
Inside has a laptop/water reservoir. Then on the front of that is the probe, shovel handle sleeves. 2 4 inch sleeves and a 2 inch sleeve in the middle. Then on the inside of the front of the pack, towards the bottom is another zipper pocket that easily fits a pair of gloves and an extra hat.
It fits super tight for riding and is really comfortable and site perfect on my 5’10” back. Go check it out, there is a good chance Mr. Ortiz will be the one to handcraft one for you. I got a nice Montana state outlined custom stitched on the foam pad. So be sure too see what kind of specials they'll hook you up with. Its custom for a reason.
